This garden is a mature sloping woodland garden of 4 acres. It has won the National Award for large gardens 1996-2000. The gardens is filled with rare and unusual, tender plants from all corners of the world.

The garden is made up of rhododendrons, azaleas, magnolias, woodland plants, grasses, hostas, two ponds, a rockery with waterfall, scree beds and gravel areas. The garden specialises in the rare and unusual, including mixed borders and alpines. New areas being developed all the time. Check the website for more information and photos.

Directions:

From Cork:
Take N25 from Cork. Take Waterford road. Follow the signs for Glounthaune. Turn left at Glounthaune church up hill under bridge. 100 yards from bridge you will see 'Annmount' on pillar. Hillside is the 1st left in the avenue.
